Are We Done Yet?
Rapper-turned-actor Ice Cube reprises his role as the Everyman-sports-fanatic Nick Persons of the road-trip slapstick comedy ARE WE THERE YET? (2005), evolving from bachelorhood to domesticated family-man in the hilarious home-improvement farce ARE WE DONE YET? Now married to Suzanne (Nia Long) and stepfather to her kids, Lindsey (Aleisha Allen) and Kevin (Phillip Bolden), Nick decides to change careers, selling his half of a sports memorabilia store to launch a sports magazine. Just as he is about to get things started he finds out that Suzanne is pregnant with twins! Already cramped in his small city apartment, he decides its time to move to the country, where he can raise his new family in more wide open spaces. They are charmed, and duped, by local realtor Chuck Mitchell Jr. (John C. McGinley), who also turns out to be the local inspector and general contractor, to purchase a beautiful mid-1800's house, a "fixer-upper" on sprawling property, complete with pond and guest house. But their dream home becomes a never-ending nightmarish endeavor, and between Suzanne's pregnancy, Nick's magazine launch, and adapting to the country life, it's not clear who will implode first, the house or the family.

Disturbia
Shia LaBeouf (CONSTANTINE, I, ROBOT) is a young talent to be reckoned with, as he demonstrates in this genre-spanning film from director D.J. Caruso. Part teenage romantic comedy, part horror flick, DISTURBIA stars LaBeouf as the troubled Kale, who is confined to his home under house arrest after he punches out his Spanish teacher in the middle of class. Kale's array of available diversions dwindle considerably after his mom (Carrie Ann Moss, MEMENTO) shuts off his X-Box and his i-Tunes, and he turns to voyeurism instead, carefully noting the daily activities of his neighbors. These include the swimming schedule of the hot girl who just moved in next door, Ashley (Sarah Roemer, THE GRUDGE 2), whom he ogles with his best friend, the class clown, Ronnie (Aaron Yoo, THE BEDFORD DIARIES). When Ashley unexpectedly shows up and wants to know what the boys are doing behind their binoculars, they concoct a story about their neighbor, Mr. Turner (David Morse, PROOF OF LIFE), and their suspicions that he is the serial killer currently on the loose. The teens' subsequent stakeout makes them increasingly convinced that this is in fact the case, and their creepy interactions with Turner bring them ever closer to learning the dark secret that lies inside his impenetrable suburban existence.

TMNT: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Director and screenwriter Kevin Munroe brings the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the 21st century with TMNT. Leonardo's return fails to unite them; in fact, it only increases his brother Raphael's resentment. But when monsters begin appearing in New York City and are pursued by both the mysterious Foot Clan (another group of crackerjack Ninjas) and some menacing stone statues that have come to life, the brothers must band together under the tutelage of their sensei, a mutated rat named Master Splinter (Mako), and fight for their city.

Year Of The Dog
Any dog-lover would be a fool to pass up this charming dark comedy from director/screenwriter/actor Mike White (THE GOOD GIRL, SCHOOL OF ROCK, CHUCK AND BUCK). Famous for her iconic portrayal of Mary Katherine Gallagher, SNL alum Molly Shannon shows new range here as Peggy, a timid secretary whose whole life revolves happily around her adorable beagle, Pencil. When unspeakable tragedy strikes, Peggy is naturally overcome with grief. But at the same time, the loss of Pencil forces Peggy out of her shell and into the world of people. As a heartbroken Peggy faces pressure to cheer up from her friends and family, she is taken by the genuine empathy of her next door neighbor (John C. Reilly), even if she is appalled by his love of hunting. And just when Peggy thinks she's found a kindred spirit in a sexually ambiguous pet trainer (Peter Sarsgaard), the mixed signals and complexity that make up human nature get in the way. The more she observes her brother, her controlling sister-in-law (Laura Dern), and the supposedly normal but actually twisted life that they live, the more attractive the simpler, purer world of animals appears. Peggy soon realizes that she must follow her true passion and pave her own path, even if it involves a lie here or there in pursuit of a good cause.
