Before the days of the Disney Renaissance in the 1990s, the studio released a string of classic movies. Though many of them have been forgotten over time, one that has never truly disappeared is "Lady and the Tramp." The beloved film comes to DVD for a new generation of families to enjoy on February 7.

Lady, a cocker spaniel, lives a pampered life with an adoring family. Conversely, a stray mutt known only as The Tramp survives on scraps from local restaurants and is generally viewed as a vagabond. However, the two strike up a romance once he saves Lady from being chased down by two other dogs.

But their relationship is not as simple as they would like. The Tramp causes trouble wherever he goes and Lady has found a new enemy in their owners' Aunt Sarah, who finds her disruptive to their infant. Will they be able to be together despite the obstacles  in the way?

"Lady and the Tramp," may have hit theaters in the '50s but it has a story that still resonates today and undoubtedly had an influence on more recent Disney movies including "The Lion King" and "Finding Nemo."
