Johnny Depp tops IMDBPro's list of best actors

It's been 10 years since IMDBPro launched, and in honor of the milestone, the popular subscription service released its picks for the best actors, movies and television shows over the last decade. The rankings, based on user-generated ratings, placed Johnny Depp topped the list of stars, while "The Dark Knight" was named best movie and "Lost" earned the award for television series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The winners are even more impressive once one considers the stiff competition they were up against. For Depp, he bested a long list of popular actors that featured Brad Pitt (who came in at number two) and Angelina Jolie (who was at number three). Tom Cruise and Natalie Portman rounded out the top five. "The Dark Knight" was up against some great films as well. It managed to top Oscar winner "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" and fan favorite "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban." "Lost," the popular ABC drama stood out above a competitive field as well that included the likes of "House M.D." and the Showtime hit "Dexter."
