There is no lack of films that depict a dystopian future, but few are quite like 2011's "In Time." The science fiction movie, which takes place in a bizarre alternate future and features a number of young stars, comes to DVD January 31.

The story is set in 2161 and scientists have found a genetic alteration which causes humans to stop aging at 25. However, if they want to live longer they have to acquire currency called "living time" or they'll be dead within a year. People work for hours of life, which have replaced money.

Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) is 28 and struggling to find enough hours to live. However, his life changes once he saves the life of a wealthy man who transfers 116 years of life to Will. After his mother runs out of time, Will vows revenge on a wealthy population that hordes all the life.

To watch some of the best futuristic movies in recent memory fans may want to check out "Minority Report" and "Terminator Salvation."
