'Mad Men' to premiere March 25

The wait is over for fans of "Mad Men" eager to find out when the much-anticipated fifth season premieres. At the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, AMC's vice president of programming Joel Stillerman confirmed that the drama will return on March 25, TVLine.com reports. The announcement echoes what star John Hamm said earlier, though the date had not been officially confirmed. While it may be one of the most most popular shows on AMC, it was not the only news that made waves from the press tour. Stillerman also told attendees that the "The Walking Dead" will consist of 16 episodes instead of the usual 13. The show, which is currently in its second season, returns to the airwaves February 12 As for "The Killing," which pulled in a large audience in its freshmen season, the website reports that Stillerman said the season will debut April 1. To check out some of AMC's other popular shows, viewers may want to watch "Breaking Bad" or "Hell on Wheels."
