'Party Down' movie confirmed by Megan Mullally

It has been almost two years since the hit comedy series "Party Down" went off the air, but fans of the show recently got a bit of good news. Megan Mullally, who starred in its second (and final) season, revealed that a big screen adaptation will begin filming this year, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Mullally revealed very few details about the movie but mentioned that nearly every member of the cast will be returning, the lone exception being Jane Lynch, who she was unsure about. She also pointed out that it would likely pick up right where the end of the second season left off. "I will be doing the 'Party Down' movie," she told reporters, the publication reports. "John [Enbom] is writing it right now." The show, which ran throughout 2009 and 2010 featured some actors who later went on to big things including Adam Scott, who currently stars in "Parks and Recreation" and Lizzy Caplan who has been in a number of films including "Hot Tub Time Machine."
