One of HBO's most popular comedies is slated to come back in the next few months and the network is also anticipating the premiere of another new series. The network announced that both "Eastbound and Down" and the newly-created "Life's Too Short" are set to kick off their seasons on February 19, Paste magazine reports.

"Eastbound and Down," which stars Danny McBride as former professional baseball player Kenny Powers, will be entering its third season. Although fans of the show are certainly eagerly-awaiting its premier, "Life's Too Short" may be even more hotly anticipated.

The show is the brainchild of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant who provided the TV world with the likes of "The Office" and "Extras." Little is known about the show other than that it is a fake documentary and that both Gervais and Merchant will be appearing as themselves, according to the publication.

To pass the time until the two comedies premier, fans can check out similar HBO series through TV on DVD including "Entourage" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm."
