(We do not collect these names or emails!)The "Transformers" series has accomplished a lot of things. Not only has it become one of the most popular action movie franchises, but it has also made a star out of Shia LaBeouf. The third and final installment "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," takes things to a whole new level and comes to DVD on September 30.
Led by Optimus Prime, the noble autobots have been living in relative obscurity since the events of the last film. However, that all changes very quickly once the Autobots discover that some of the evil robots from their homeland of Cybertron have made the journey to Earth in the hopes of colonizing it for their new home.
One again Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) has to team up with his faithful band of shape-shifting robot friends to defend the world from the likes of the nefarious Megatron and Senteinel Prime, but this time the lives of everyone on Earth are at stake.
Director Michael Bay certainly has a habit of creating over-the-top action sequences, and he certainly does not disappoint in the latest "Transformers" film. To check out some of his previous work, "Armageddon" and "Pearl Harbor" will suffice.
