'Something Borrowed' a star-studded hit

Romantic comedy movies almost always follow the same formula, but that's not to say it's a bad one. Sometimes, it works out perfectly, and that is the case with the 2011 movie "Something Borrowed." With an all-star cast, this new release DVD hits shelves August 16. After law school friends Rachel (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Dex (Colin Egglesfield) wake up together one morning, and their world is thrown into turmoil. Dex is Rachel's best friend Darby's (Kate Hudson) fiance, and their mutual friend Ethan (John Krasinski) is sworn to secrecy about the tryst. Despite the implications of their relationship, Dex and Rachel continue to spend time together behind everyone's back. As the wedding nears, Dex decides to break it off with Darcy, only to find out a series of new revelations that could change all of their lives forever. There is certainly no lack of romantic comedies in cinematic history, but several stand out above the rest.
