Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell set to reunite in 'Turkey Bowl'

Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell scored a surprise hit with the buddy cop comedy movie "The Other Guys," and it looks like the pair are set to give it another go. Deadline.com reports that Warner Brothers has acquired the rights to "Turkey Bowl," which will reunite the duo in what is sure to be a star-studded movie. Few details are known about the specifics of the story, but it's set to star Wahlberg and Ferrell as two football-obsessed men who lead rival teams in an annual tackle football game. Sources close to the development say that, much like in the Ferrell-led "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," there will likely be a slew of cameos. According to the news source, Alec Baldwin will appear in a supporting role as Wahlberg's father, and the script will be penned by Robert Carlock, who writes for Baldwin on "30 Rock." Ferrell has been one of the most prolific actors in Hollywood over recent years, starring in titles ranging from the family movie "Land of the Lost" to raunchy comedies like "Step Brothers."
