It is hard to think of anything that could improve the classic Nintendo 64 game "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," but developers may do just that for its upcoming release on the Nintendo 3DS. Game designer Shigeru Miyamoto and Nintendo president Satoru Iwata hinted that something new will appear in the remake, IGN.com reports.

Despite the announcement, the new addition is shrouded in mystery. Rumors are swirling as to what the "Zelda" update could include, especially since many consider the original game to be among the best titles of all time. Some have questioned why they would remake the game at all, but supporters maintain that it mainly boils down to the advances in 3D since its release and the ability to introduce the game to a younger audience.

"In fact the master designer noted that younger audiences weren't even playing games when 'Ocarina of Time' first came out 13 years ago," according to the news source.

Many people today likely have fond memories of playing the original, but RPGs have come a long way since then. Titles such as "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow" and "God of War" have become new favorites for fans of Playstation 3 games.
