'Stag Night' a fearsome romp through the NYC subway

Anybody who has ever watched a horror film knows that nights of debauchery usually do not end well (on screen at least). Such is the fate of the main characters in "Stag Night," a low-budget slasher which hits shelves in the United States on February 15. The story follows the plight of four men who are out celebrating in New York City the night before one of them is supposed to be married. However, their evening of revelry soon turns to horror after one of the friends becomes too rowdy, and the group finds itself stranded on a desolate subway platform. The gang soon discovers that the station was abandoned in the 1970s. Upon seeing a transit police officer brutally murdered by a group of ne'erdowells, they are forced to take off and are pursued through the dank underground streets of the city. The suspenseful film stars Breckin Meyer, of "Road Trip" and "Rat Race" fame. Vinessa Shaw also appears. Shaw, who is no stranger to horror flicks herself, starred in the 2006 remake of the classic thriller "The Hills Have Eyes."
