The Oscar nominations: Who was snubbed?

Those who earned a coveted Academy Award nomination are likely jumping for joy at the moment, but it's safe to say there are a few performers who are bummed after failing to hear their name on the prestigious roster. Moviegoers were likely disheartened to learn that Christopher Nolan was snubbed for Best Director. On the brighter side, his summer popcorn hit, "Inception," received a nod for Best Picture of the year. Michelle Williams is up for Best Actress for her work in "Blue Valentine," a move that many audiences are likely raising their glasses to considering the difficulty and gravity of the role. However, her co-star, Ryan Gosling, was not nominated for Best Actor. Finally, Mila Kunis of "Black Swan" was forgotten when it came time to finalize the Best Supporting Actress category.
