Michael Douglas steals the show in "Solitary Man"

Michael Douglas is incredible in "Solitary Man," a film that showcases the talents of one of the world's greatest living actors. Fortunately for home audiences, the film will be available on DVD September 7. Douglas stars as Ben Kalmen, a guy who once had it all - a beautiful wife, Nancy (Susan Sarandon), a great gig owning an auto dealership, and a sprawling Manhattan apartment. However, when he fails to control his impulses, Ben loses everything. Years later, things start to look up for the guy - Ben regularly sees his daughter, Susan (Jenna Fischer), and is enjoying a new romance with Jordan (Mary-Louise Parker). However, when he decides to take Jordan's daughter to college, his ability to make the right decisions is put to the test once again. Fans of "Solitary Man" will certainly get a kick out of the dozens of films Douglas has performed in throughout the past few decades. However, many believe the keystone of Douglas' career is "Wall Street," a film which won him the Academy Award for Best Actor.
