Michael Caine is undeniably wonderful in "Harry Brown"

Michael Caine may be in his golden years, but the talented actor shows no sign of slowing down. His recent thriller, "Harry Brown," proves that moviegoers can always depend on the Academy Award-winner to give a noteworthy performance. Caine stars as the title character, a man whose wife, Kath (Liz Daniels), is dying. His only friend, Leonard Attwell (David Bradley), keeps him company and offers him companionship during this trying time. After Kath passes away, Leonard tells Harry that a gang has been harassing him. When he is later found murdered, Brown decides to seek revenge on the group of thugs. While Caine is fantastic in this intense crime-thriller, the actor has shown his ability to shine in any genre. In fact, the versatile performer won an Oscar for his performance in the 1986 Woody Allen comedy "Hannah and her Sisters" and also took home the statuette in 2000 for the drama "The Cider House Rules."
