Eve Hewson, Bono's daughter, lands movie role

Bono is known around the world for leading the internationally-recognized pop group U2, but it looks like his daughter, Eve Hewson, has a budding acting career. According to Variety, the 19-year old is set to star alongside Sean Penn in "This Must Be the Place," a drama which is due for release next year. Hewson will play a goth-punk music fan who befriends Sean Penn's character, an aging rock star obsessed with a former Nazi war criminal. The film is also set to star "Fargo" actress Frances McDormand, and will be helmed by Italian director Paolo Sorrentino. While this isn't Hewson's first appearance in a feature film, it may be her most hyped. The actress also starred in the independent drama "The 27 Club." As for Penn, the Academy Award winner's career show's no sigh of stopping. The actor, who has appeared in over 46 projects, will be seen next in "The Tree of Life," a fantasy-drama which is due for release this year. Featured Titles: Fargo Special Edition DVD $10.99
