Will Steve Slater get a movie deal?

Steve Slater, the JetBlue flight attendant who quit his job in a much ballyhooed exit last week, is no doubt getting his taste of the limelight at the moment. Some have even wondered if a movie deal is imminent. According to the Hollywood Reporter, it's possible. "It's a very competitive story, and everybody wants to hear from him directly about what happened," David Friedman, executive producer of CBS' "The Early Show," told the news outlet. Because most talent agencies choose to sign people with prior acting experience, the news source claims that Slater might have better luck with reality television producers. This wouldn't be so surprising - Kim Kardashian of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" is best known for being friends with Paris Hilton, while Hulk Hogan's children were relatively unknown before they starred in "Hogan Knows Best." Still, some think Slater should just enjoy his 15 minutes of fame while he can. "I suspect Mr. Slater's fame is about to peak as he is sure to hit the late-night TV and radio talk show circuit, but it won't last long," Steve Peckham of branding agency Olson told the news outlet.
