(We do not collect these names or emails!)Patricia Clarkson has been acting for decades now, but believe it or not, the beautiful 50-year-old has yet to play the lead female role.
That's about to change with the release of "Cairo Time." The romantic drama, which was written and directed by Ruba Nadda, won the Best Canadian Feature Film award at the 2009 Toronto Film Festival, and will be out in theaters this weekend.
For Clarkson, filling the shoes of protagonist Juliette Grant in the film was an incredible experience.
"It's sexy. I see why stars like it," she told the Village Voice.
However, Clarkson, who was nominated for an Oscar for the 2003 film "Pieces of April" and also won two Emmys for her guest appearances on "Six Feet Under," admitted that the character forced her to dig deep.
"As actors, we love the bells and whistles of any part and we often most assuredly will reach for the externals, but there are none in this character. She is an intensely internal character, and it was exhausting," she told the news source.
