For fans of the Discovery channel's hit series "Deadliest Catch," the most recent episode may have been a tough one to watch. The July 13 plotline revolved around the passing of Captain Phil Harris, the leader of the crab fishing boat.

Harris' son, Josh, recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about losing his father and the upcoming season.

"Everybody wants to give you hugs, give their condolences, tell you their stories. They try to comfort you in every which way. I'm very thankful for all the people who genuinely care," he told the news outlet.

"Deadliest Catch" remains one of the most cherished programs for the Discovery channel. However, other series, such as "Mythbusters" and "Man vs. Wild" have enjoyed much success as well.

For Josh Harris, the upcoming season of his show is bound to be an exciting one.

"What I do know is we will be back in full force one way or another, hell or high water. I can see myself making sure that the boat sticks around - whatever it takes," he told the news source.ADNFCR-2673-ID-19892111-ADNFCR
