"It's Complicated" stars Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin

Meryl Street and Alec Baldwin are both fantastic in the film "It's Complicated." The romantic comedy was directed by Nancy Meyers, who also helmed the audience favorite "Something's Gotta Give." The story centers on divorced couple Jane (Streep) and Jake (Baldwin). When the story begins, the pair has been split for years, but remain friendly. Things begin to change when the duo meets up for the graduation of their son, Luke (Hunter Parrish). After they get tipsy and wind up in bed with one another, the former husband and wife attempt to reprise their relationship. This becomes further complicated when Jane meets handsome architect Adam (Steve Martin). The laugh-out-loud comedy may be the least serious role Streep has taken on in the past few years. The 14-time Academy Award nominee has recently appeared in "Doubt" and "Julie & Julia." However, Streep's superb performance in "It's Complicated" did not go unnoticed, as she was nominated for a Golden Globe award. The iconic actress lost to Sandra Bullock, who won for "The Blind Side."
