"Creature of Darkness" will be released on DVD April 13, and fans of the horror genre are counting down the days. The film, which is rated R, stars former teen heartthrob Devon Sawa.

The movie centers on Andrew (Sawa), a young man who has a recurring nightmare about being killed by a horrible creature. He is tormented, but his friend convinces him that he needs to confront his dreams in order to stop them.

Soon, Andrew and his buddy invite a bunch of cyclists on a wild adventure. Before they know it, the group heads to the exact location in which Andrew's nightmare takes place.

Sawa starred alongside Rick Moranis in the hit sports film "Little Giants" as Junior Floyd years ago. He also appeared in the movies "A Cool Dry Place" and "Final Destination.""Creature of Darkness" also stars Kevin Alejandro, who stars in the hit crime series "Southland" as Detective Nate Moretta.ADNFCR-2673-ID-19719463-ADNFCR
