(We do not collect these names or emails!)"How to Train Your Dragon," the animated feature film that has collected endless critical praise, won the box office race this past weekend with $43.3 million in ticket sales. The results were surprising for movie industry experts, who predicted that the John Cusack comedy "Hot Tub Time Machine" would claim the coveted first-place slot.
"How to Train Your Dragon" is the story of a young Viking boy named Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel) who dreams of becoming a dragon slayer. However, after Hiccup catches the mysterious creature, he discovers he has found himself a new friend.
The film also stars Gerard Butler as the voice of Stoick. Butler was recently seen in the romantic comedy "The Ugly Truth" as Mike Chadway and is best known for his role as King Leonidas in the brutal action film "300."
Jonah Hill, who appeared in the classic Judd Apatow comedy "Superbad," also lent his voice to the film as the character Snotlout. Hill can be seen in the upcoming comedy "Get Him to the Greek," due in theaters this June.
