"Fantastic Mr Fox" to be released on DVD March 23

"Fantastic Mr Fox," an irresistible gem for children and parents, is due to be released on DVD on March 23. The stop-motion animation movie provides a great way for an entire family to spend an evening together. The film centers on the tale of Mr Fox (voiced by George Clooney), an adventurous newspaper columnist who lives in a hole with his wife, Mrs. Felicity Fox (Meryl Streep), and son Ash (Jason Schwartzman). One day, Mr Fox decides to raid the local farmers. The act gets him and his family in trouble, and the animal spends the rest of the film trying to weasel his way out of the situation. "Fantastic Mr Fox," which is based on the Roald Dahl children's novel of the same name, was helmed by Wes Anderson. The quirky director is best known for his witty, tongue-in-cheek comedy classics "Rushmore" and "The Royal Tenenbaums." This is Anderson's first time directing an animated film. It looks like he's a natural - the movie was nominated for two Oscars, including Best Animated Feature Film of the Year.
