The "Twilight" films don't need any help selling tickets, but Summit Entertainment is still doing everything they can to boost the popularity of the teen saga.

According to Entertainment Weekly, three esteemed directors have been approached to helm the final installment in the series, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn." The film will be based on Stephenie Meyer's novel of the same name and will likely be split into two separate movies.

The news source is reporting that Sofia Coppola ("Lost in Translation"), Gus Van Sant ("Milk") and Bill Condon ("Dreamgirls"), are currently in talks with the studio. All three directors are Academy Award nominees.

"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" will complete the story of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart). The book follows the pair as they deal with many adult issues.

The two stars of the "Twilight" series can currently be seen in other projects. Kristen Stewart is appearing in "The Runaways," which will open nationwide on April 9, while Robert Pattinson plays the leading male role in the sentimental romance "Remember Me."ADNFCR-2673-ID-19672933-ADNFCR
