Fans of horror classics like "Saw" and "Halloween" will love "Nine Dead," which will be released on DVD Tuesday, March 9 The film stars Melissa Joan Hart, an actress usually seen in perkier, more upbeat flicks. But here she has taken on a darker role as Kelley Murphy, who is one of nine victims kidnapped by a ruthless psycho in the scary flick. The movie's twisted plot is bound to keep audiences at the edge of their seats. It follows the ordeal of nine strangers who awake to find themselves chained to nine different poles. They soon discover that they're part of a killer's mind game. As they attempt to figure out how they are all connected, the group eventually realizes that they are racing against the clock to save their own lives and each other. Hart, who rose to fame after she appeared on the Nickelodeon sitcom "Clarissa Explains it All," and later starred in "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch," still makes time in her schedule for more upbeat projects, too. Her new film "Satin," a romance, is currently in post-production.
