"Clash of Titans" remake stars "Avatar's" Sam Worthington

The "Clash of the Titans" stars Sam Worthington, who has recently become a household name after starring in James Cameron's latest blockbuster, "Avatar." However, Worthington won't be carrying the epic film alone - he's part of an all-star cast that includes Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson and Alexa Davalos. The story begins when Perseus (Worthington), a Greek god who was raised as a man, must fight Hades (Fiennes), the god of the underworld, to save his family and prevent Hades from stealing Zeus’ (Neeson’s) power. Perseus must come to terms with his own identity as a god before he can save those that he loves and preserve the balance of power. The story, which is a remake of the 1981 film of the same name, draws deeply from Greek mythology, and is sure to please both history buffs and fans of epic dramas alike. Moviegoers who enjoyed "Troy" or "300" will be enjoy "Clash of the Titans," as will anyone who liked historical movies such as "Braveheart" or "Gladiator."
