Director Duncan Jones will helm "Source Code," a science fiction film in which a soldier, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, is stuck inside of a stranger's body and forced to relive the events of one day until he can change the outcome.

Jones has directed other science fiction projects in the past, the latest being "Moon," a 2009 film starring Sam Rockwell of "Choke." In "Moon," Rockwell plays astronaut Sam Bell, who spends three years on the moon. His only companion is his personal computer GERTY, voiced by Kevin Spacey, who recently appeared in "21." Towards the end of Sam's time on the moon, strange things begin happening.

Gyllenhaal is no stranger to science fiction films. The star became a household name after the success of the cult movie "Donnie Darko," in which Gyllenhaal played the title character. Donnie is a sensitive and emotionally troubled teenager in a wealthy neighborhood. He is depressed until strange events lead him to a deeper understanding of the nature of time and our place in the universe.

Gyllenhaal is also slated to play Prince Dastan in the upcoming Disney flick, "The Prince of Persia."ADNFCR-2673-ID-19451014-ADNFCR
