"Night at the Museum: Battle at the Smithsonian" offers laughs and adventures

"Night at the Museum: Battle at the Smithsonian," the sequel to the popular adventure flick "Night at the Museum," brings back everyone’s favorite historical action figures. However, in this sequel, you'll met a few new faces. Ben Stiller returns as Larry Daley, a divorced father who divides his time between his son and his job as night guard at the American Museum of Natural History. During the day, statues of Attilla the Hun and Tyrannosaurus Rex seem like typical museum exhibits, but at night they come alive and create chaos. When the museum is shut down and the exhibits are moved to the Smithsonian, Larry must also head down to Washington D.C. to make sure that his magical friends are well cared for. Fans of the first movie will appreciate returning characters like Jedediah Smith, an enthusiastic cowboy of the American west, played by Owen Wilson (of "Marley & Me" and "Shanghai Noon.") Viewers will also love new additions to the ensemble cast, like Amelia Earhart, portrayed by an earnest and spunky Amy Adams (who received an Academy Award nomination for her role in "Doubt.") The film also features Hank Azaria (the voice of characters like Moe the bartender, Apu the Kwik-E-Mart owner and Police Chief Wiggum on "The Simpsons") as the Egyptian pharaoh Akmenrah.
