While most killer-snake movies are content with unleashing their fanged carnage on land, SILENT VENOM goes one step further and pits an unlucky crew of humans against a deadly, slithering mass at hundreds of feet below sea-level. When tensions with the Chinese military force research scientist Dr. Andrea Swanson (Krista Allen), her assistant, Jake (Louis Mandylor), and a container of vicious, mutated snakes to evacuate a remote jungle island in the Pacific, the only way off is by boarding an old submarine headed by a grouchy lieutenant commander (Luke Perry). The good news is everyone survives a surprise military attack on the submarine. The bad news is the blast tore open the snakes' containment unit...Tom Berenger co-stars in this creepy-crawly action-thriller.
