It all starts when in the John Dahl-directed JOY RIDE when two brothers, Lewis (Paul Walker) and Fuller (Steve Zahn), driving home cross-country and bored, use the CB radio to play a mean-spirited practical joke on a trucker that they regret immediately and forever. In JOY RIDE 2: DEAD AHEAD, the sadistic and shadow-shrouded truck driver Rusty Nails has hijacked the CB airwaves once again, brutally reclaiming the road as his personal playground of slaughter. When four friends call out for help after their car breaks down during a cross country trip to Las Vegas, it looks as though professional mutilator Rusty has found himself some new playmates. Kyle Schmid (A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE), Nicki Aycox (JEEPERS CREEPERS II), and Nick Zano (FINAL DESINATION 4) star in the high octane-sequel.
